Things to do before and after a party in your Apartment

 Is my apartment in a mess? Does the bathroom need a good cleaning? Are my apartment rooms in a mess? These are the common questions which come into your mind when the moment you start inviting people for a party at your apartment. The best thing to do is to start working on things you need to do 4 or 3 days prior to the party without waiting until the day of your party to do all the work which is due. Because it is very important for you to stay relaxed during party.  If the, host face looks stressed the guest will not really enjoy the party, because they may start to worry about you. So want to have the best party with stress free? These are some point you need to keep in mind when you’re preparing to host a party in your apartment. I’ll be discussing what you need to do dividing the work into 4 days. This may vary for your own opinion.

Day 1 

On this day you need to plan whether you serving lunch, dinner or finger food. After deciding what you are going to serve you need to make the menu what you are going to serve as food. You need to check whether you have all the required items at your apartment. And make of list of things which is missing and go on grocery shopping to purchase everything you need. Don’t keep anything to be purchased on the day of the party except for any bakery items as bread, buns etc.

Day 2 

This is the day you need to do the most hectic part of having the party. You need to clean your apartment starting from your living room to the bathroom. When you are cleaning make sure you clean the floor clearly check the walls for any cobwebs and get reed of them. Make sure to dust your furniture using a vacuum cleaner to make your task easier. Next move onto your rooms make the bed and dust the furniture and don’t give it a huge cleanup because the chances are low where a guest uses your room. But to be on the safe side just give it a simple clean. The next place is the bathroom the most important place because this is a place where almost every guest will need to use when they come to a party. Make sure you scrub the floor well and wash all the toilet fittings and make sure to keep the toilet paper. If you do the hard part on this day you can just do a quick wash on the day of the party to avoid in any disappointments.

Day 3 

On this day you need to take all the plates, dishes, glasses, cutlery which supposed to be used on the day of the party and wash it well until it shines. And you can do some pre cooking to make it easier for you on the day of the party. For example if you’re planning to serve any welcome drink you can make it on this day and let it refrigerate well so the guest can have a nice cold drink. Another example is if any meat items or vegetable which needs to be cut can be done and packed in a box and put to a refrigerator. But do this if you are sure they will be fresh on the day of the party.

Day 4 

This day is the most important of all the days. Start preparing your food prior to the party. Don’t leave any major cooking during the party because you don’t want to spend your time in the kitchen when the guest has arrived for the party at your apartment. When the party starts serve the food on the table and spend time with your guests and make sure they are having a good time at your party. So when finally the party is over you may be exhausted to clean up the mess. But don’t let yourself to think of postponing the cleaning to the next day. Gather up the courage you have and start cleaning your apartment because you don’t want to have any food stains on your furniture. Trust me you will not regret the decision of cleaning on the day the party is over when you wake up the next morning with fully cleaned up apartment.
